The 3rd ODI between West Indies and Zimbabwe
at Georgetown, Guyana has been cancelled as
persistent heavy rains left the ground
completely unfit. It has been raining since
Tuesday and it is unlikely that the 4th ODI
which is to be played tomorrow at this same
venue will get underway. West Indies are leading
this 7-ODIs Series 2-0 and this series which was
originally a 5-ODIs one is most likely to have
just 3 more games only. The homeside batting
hasn’t fired on all cylinders and they are
hoping to make big scores in the remaining one
dayers to prepare themselves ahead of a much
tough series against India which begins on the
18th of this month.
