What Stars say about India's chances at Champions Trophy???

Cricketfundas.com's correspondents caught up with the following players to know what they think about India's chances in this edition of the Champions Trophy.  Check this page again as we try to get more Stars to express their opinions.

Tinu Yohannan

I think if India plays to their potential, then they have a nice chance. The batsmen should click at the right time and they should jell as a unit and play. It will be good to see India coming back to their winning habit. It’s just the matter of one game. If you get one win somewhere, it automatically brings back your winning rhythm.

Gargi Banerjee

"A crown of thorns that any player who has played for India could aspire for. The team had this problem of depending on few players. Although it hasn’t completely come out of this, the present team looks like all players are ready to chip in with their might. The proverbial thorn in the flesh as far as the Indian team is concerned. But one has to admit that with the introduction of youngsters the team is improving this aspect of its game. Something that the team has always been accused of lacking. Indian team had a tendency to buckle under pressure. But then this team under Saurav Ganguly has shown some signs of having graduated to being men from boys, winning matches from not just pressure situations but also seemingly impossible situations. And I Can see the Indian flag is flying high and high for the ICC Champions Trophy."

Well I think the problem for the Indian team right now is the fitness problem. You have many players who are injured and not able to play. I think if India starts winning one game, then you will have the same winning flow come back. If you remember, the same Indian side performed so well all through last year. So its just the question of one good win which can boost the morale in the Indian camp and inspire them to do well.

I think India is definitely going to win the Champions Trophy. If you remember, before the World Cup they didn't do well. So I think that this will be a wake up call for them. And I am sure that they will do very well in this Champions Trophy.

Vijay Bharadwaj

India I think has a very good chance of winning this tournament. If they do the right things at the right time, then they have a very good chance of winning this Tournament. I hope that the top 6 batsmen come good while batting and score a lot of runs.
