Zims beat Scots by five wickets |
In the clash of minnows,
Zimbabwe beat Scotland by five wickets with
seven balls to spare at Potcheftsroom. Scotland
put into bat first had posted 155 for 6 with
Skipper Ryan Watson, also the opening batsman
scoring 64 from 50 with 5 fours and 2 sixes.
Navdeep Poonia was the next highest scorer with
36 from 27. Zimbabwe through a 79-run second
wicket partnership between Siband (42 from 41
with 5 fours) and Justice Chibhabha (43 from 31
with 6 fours and a six) won the match
comfortably. Also worth of mentioning is Stuart
Matsikenyeri who got an unbeaten 25 from 18.
