Kenya beat Bangladesh

Left handed opener Tamim Iqbal was the only batsman to put up anything good for his side at Benoni. Tamim scored 56 from 41 with 8 fours and a six but his side collapsed to be bowled out in just 16.3 overs! Bangladeshi batsmen put on en extremely sorry show after they were asked to bat first by Kenya. Medium pacers Nehemiah Odhiambo (4-0-37-3) and Lameck Onyango (4-0-19-2) were the bowling heroes.

Kenya took their time in chasing the low target with the asking rate not even at 6.00. They won  the game with just one ball to spare but they had six wickets intact in their chase. Skipper Steve Tikolo was the top scorer with 36 from 28 with 5 fours. Mohammad Ashraful was the surprise package with the ball as he took 2 for 19 in his 4 overs. Interestingly the match had seen just two sixes with both of them coming from Bangladesh.
