The fifth and final ODI between New Zealand and
Sri Lanka has been abandoned due to heavy rain.
This match at Hamilton was also the decider of
the series which was at 2-2. The rain never gave
up once the toss was done with New Zealand
winning it and deciding to field first.
Sri Lanka had a good tour after they had drawn
the 2-Test Series 1-1 and then drawing the ODIs
2-2 with both its win coming at huge margins.
There were also two Twenty20 Internationals on
this tours which were shared by both the sides.
So all in all, the tour has brought mixed
results for both the sides. But Sri Lanka would
be the happier side as the Kiwis were expected
to win at least the Test Series.
