Stylish
opening batsman and one of the best fielders
in the world, Herschelle Gibbs is back into
action. He has been named in the South African
One Day Side which plays a 5 ODIs Series
against the visiting New Zealanders. The 1st
ODI begins on October 23 at Goodyear Park in
Bloemfontein. South African Selectors have
named 14 players for the 1st 3 ODIs. Herschell
Gibbs had a knee injury which kept him out of
cricket for 2 months and he had to miss the
tour of West Indies and also the Johnnie
Walker ICC Super Series. The 31 year old has
hit 15 One Day hundreds and his comeback would
definitely strengthen South Africa's batting
against the Black Caps who are fresh from
their Videocon Triangular Series triumph in
Zimbabwe.
