South
Africa has gone in with the same squad of 15
that had beaten Pakistan at home in a five ODI
Series 3-1. The 15-men squad has seven black
players with Loots Bosman retaining his place.
The squad will be leaving for the Caribbean on
the 28th with Makhaya Ntini joining the team
after the first week of March. Ntini will stay
back in South Africa for the birth of his second
child.
The Proteas will be staying at St.Kitts as they
are placed in Group A along with the defending
champions, Australia and minnows - Scotland and
Netherlands. South Africa's first match is on
the 16th of March against Netherlands.
