Kallis to lead SA
for Ireland tour |

Jacques
Kallis will be leading the South
Africans for their upcoming tour of
Ireland. The Proteas play a three match
series against India along with one
match against Ireland. Kallis has been
named as the Captain as
Graeme Smith
is yet to recover from his knee surgery
on his left leg. All rounder
Shaun
Pollock has been rested for this
tour.
The South African squad consists of 14
players with one day comebacks for left
handed batsman Jean-Paul Duminy, Wicket
Keeper batsman Morne van Wyk and Dale
Steyn along with two new faces in off
spinner Thandi Tshabalala and all
rounder Vernon Philander. The players
who will be missing the Ireland tour are
Graeme Smith, Shaun Pollock, Ashwell
Prince, Roger Telemachus and Robin
Peterson. All the four ODIs as part of
the Ireland tour will be played at the
Civil Service Club ground in Stormont,
Belfast. The three match series against
India follows after the Only ODI against
Ireland. The first ODI against India is
on the 26th of this month.
