Harvinder Singh and J.P.Yadav to start with. But
Mohammad Kaif and Jyoti Yadav, two of the most
senior players reconstructed the innings and saw
U.P set a good target of 246. Kaif scored a well
paced 75 with 7 4s and 1 six and Jyoti Yadav top
scored with 83 with 8 fours.
Railways
chasing were well on course of winning this game
with contributions from most of their top order
batsmen. Towards the end Railways couldn't hold
to their nerves which Uttar Pradesh did and won
the match by a whisker, just a victory margin of
1 run. Jai Prakash Yadav top scored for Railways
with 57.
