The homeside were up against a relatively strong
Tamil Nadu side and their batsmen had no clues
at all against the two pacers Srinivas and
Rajamani Jesuraj. The two bowlers answered to
their captain’s call after winning the toss by
skittling Goa for just 116. Srinivas took 3 and
Jesuraj took 4.
Tamil Nadu chased this total without any major
hurdles. Tamil Nadu picked up the bonus point
for scoring these runs under 30 overs and Goa
picked up a negative point.
