Services took on Haryana in the 8th match
of the North Zone League at the Indira Gandhi
Stadium in Una.
After winning the toss
and electing to bat, Services put on 207 runs on
the board for the loss of 6 wickets. Yashpal
Singh top scored for Services with a solid 79 of
105 balls. Among the bowlers, Joginder Sharma
and Sachin Rana took 2 wickets each.
Haryana in reply had a
horrific start as they were reduced to 15/4 by
new ball bowlers Sudhakar Ghag and Fazil
Mohammed. The Services onslaught continued as
Haryana in the end succumbed to a 43 run defeat.
Sudhakar Ghag picked up 4 wickets for 31 runs,
while Fazil took 3 for 17.
Services now face the
might of Punjab, while Haryana face Delhi both
on the 17th of January.
