Jan 10th, 2005:

Railways led by Sanjay Bangar scored a mammoth 302/4 with century from Amit Pagnis. Pagnis scored a run-a-ball 115 with 10 fours and 1 six. Raja Ali with his run-a-ball 91* and Shreyas Khanolkar with his 31* provided the perfect finish to the Railways’ innings with their lusty hits.

Vidarbha in reply, were never really into the chase and kept themselves content by batting out the overs. Middle order batsman Ranjit Paradkar scored an unbeaten half century and for Railways, it was off-spinner Kulamani Parida, who was the most successful bowler with 3 for 30. Vidarbha managed to score only 230/7 and couldn’t save the bonus point.
