Mumbai won the toss and elected to bat first and it looked to be a bad decision on the part of their skipper Nilesh Kulkarini as they got bowled out for just 166. Having said that, Irfan Saif Pathan and Yousuf Pathan bowled wonderfully well to take 3 wickets a piece. Wicket Keeper Vinayak Samant was the top scorer for Mumbai with 49.

Baroda won the game comfortably thanks to Satyajit Parab’s 79 and skipper Jacob Martin’s unbeaten 52. Baroda scored the runs in just 38.1 overs and losing just 3 wickets to pick 5 points.
