Ranji One Day 2004-05 : West Zone: Madhya Pradesh Vs Rajasthan

Jan 11th, 2005:

Rajasthan who won the toss elected to bat first and they scored 216/9 with opener Rajesh Sharma scoring almost a run-a-ball 71 with 10 4s and 2 6s. Things would have been much better for Rajasthan had the remaining batsmen supported Rajesh Sharma. Once Rajesh Sharma departed, the runs dried and a couple of slow but useful 20s from Chanwaria and Anup Dave ensured that they reached 216. Medium pacer Sanjay Pandey was once again amongst the wickets, this time he accounted for 3 dismissals.

M.P's chase was successful and was well controlled by opener Amit Paul's unbeaten 113 and his partner Naman Ojha's half century. The home side scored the runs in just 45 overs losing only 4 wickets.

Rajasthan 216/9 in 50 Overs (Rajesh Sharma 71, Sanjay Pandey 3/52) lost to Madhya Pradesh 220/4 in 45.0 overs (Naman Ojha 50 Amit Paul 113* Amay Khurasia 31*) by 6 wickets Full Scorecard
