Services' captain Sarabjit Singh won the toss at
the Indira Gandhi Stadium at Una and asked his
team to bat first. And Services' batsmen
responded to their skipper's call by posting a
highly competitive 260/7. Narender Singh with
his 76, Yashpal Singh with 88 (including 6
sixes) and Rajbir Singh 43* were the heroes for
Services.
J&K batting failed to the medium pace of
Sudhakar Ghag, who took 4 wickets and Manish
Kumar Jha, who took 3. Mahajan played a valliant
knock of 80. Services won the game comfortably
by 64 runs.
