It was a 42 overs a side curtailed game and
Hyderabad’s skipper Arjun Yadav won the toss and
choose to bat first. Hyderabad’s innings started
off poorly but Ambatti Rayudu with a 35 ball 50
and then Anirudh Singh with an unbeaten 61 got
Hyderabad to a decent position. Again there was
a collapse in the Hyderabad’s innings and they
could end up at only 166/9 in the 42 overs. New
ball bowler Prasanth Chandran picked up 3
wickets.
Kerala were taken to victory by their skipper
Sreekumar Nair who was unbeaten on 60. Kerala
won the match by 5 wickets and with 21 balls to
spare.
Hyderabad 166/9 in 42 overs (Ambatti
Rayudu 50 Anirudh Singh 61*, Prasanth Chandran
3/49) lost to Kerala 170/5 in 39.3 overs
(Vasudevan Jagadeesh 37 Sreekumar Nair 60*)
