Kaneria selected, Sami dropped for SL ODIs |
 Pakistan
have reposed faith in their leg spinner Danish
Kaneria to include him in the 17-man squad for
the 3-ODIs Series against Sri Lanka. Danish
Kaneria was not selected in any of the 5 One Day
Internationals in the recent series against
India. Fast bowler Mohammad Sami has been
dropped following his moderate performance in
recent times.
Arshad Khan who did play in the India Series
has also been dropped and Pakistan have included
two fresh faces in off spinner Tahir Khan, the
25-year-old from Karachi with a decent average
of around 30.00 in first class cricket and Abdur
Rehman, a 26-year-old all rounder who bowls slow
left arm orthodox. Pakistan start off their tour
by playing the 1st One Day International at the
R.Premadasa Stadium on 17. The tour comprises of
3 One Day Internationals and 2 Tests. All the
