Shoaib Akhtar out of the India Series |

Express Shoaib Akhtar has been ruled out of the
ongoing One Day Series due to his ankle injury.
Shoaib couldn't figure in the first two One Day
Internationals at Peshawar and Rawalpindi due to
the same injury. Shoaib had heavy strapping on
his ankle during the Test Series and it was one
of the few occasions in which the bowler had
lasted a full Series in his career. The fast
bowler has been advised four to six weeks of
rest. Pakistan bowling had come under severe
hammering in both the ODIs and all rounder Yasir
Arafat might be tried out in the Lahore match in
place of Umar Gul.
