Afridi called back to the Pakistani Squad

Pakistan have recalled all-rounder Shahid Afridi for next month's ICC Champions Trophy in England. The 24-year-old played against India in March but was left out of the Pakistan Asia Cup squad last month.

Opener Imran Nazir and leg-spinner Danish Kaneria, who played in the Asia Cup, both miss out. Also included in the team is left-handed opener Salman Butt, who has played one Test against Bangladesh in Multan last year.

     

Pakistan will also play in a three-team warm-up series in the Netherlands later this month along with India and Australia.
