 The
already injury struck Pakistan Squad have
received yet another shocking news on their tour
of England. All rounder
Shahid Afridi
has been struck on his right elbow while
attempting to play a pull shot off the bowling
of a member from the Lancashire groundstaff.
Afridi had ice treatment and had a strapping
around his elbow and he avoided bowling his leg
breaks in the practice sessions. However the
Pakistani Team Management is optimistic that
Afridi’s bruised elbow heals in time for
tomorrow’s Test Match at Old Trafford. The hard
hitting Afridi did not perform that well but did
enough for Pakistan to continue with him for the
remaining Test Matches. Pakistan has already
lost two players Shoaib Malik and Mohammad Asif
due to elbow injuries.
