Fleming to miss
the 1st ODI; Astle recalled |

 New
Zealand Skipper has decided to stay away from
the team for the first ODI against Sri Lanka to
stay with his wife Kelly for the arrival of
their first child. Daniel Vettori would be
leading the side in Fleming's absence and Nathan
Astle who was axed for this One Day Series gets
a recall for this December 31st ODI at
Queenstown. The Black Caps have already seen two
forced changes to their original squad with the
first one being that of the injured Andre Adams
dropping out.
