Mumbai, Sept. 27:

The Mumbai squad to take on the visiting Australian team in the three-day tour match commencing here on September 30 has been strengthened with the inclusion of Ajit Agarkar.

The wiry pace bowler was not available to play for the Ranji Trophy champions in the Irani Cup clash against Rest of India at Mohali which the former lost by a huge margin. Medium pacer Santosh Shinde, and Rohit Sharma have also been included in place of injured pace bowler Munaf Patel, and Onkar Khanwilkar respectively, according to Mumbai Cricket Association Joint Secretary Ratnakar Shetty.

Asked whether Sachin Tendulkar, afflicted by tennis elbow, would be playing the match, Shetty said "I don't know as yet."

Mumbai squad: Sairaj Bahutule (Capt), Vinod Kambli, Vinayak Mane, Wasim Jaffer, Bhavin Thakkar, Vinit Indulkar, Amol Muzumdar, Vinayak Samant, Ramesh Powar, Ajit Agarkar, Avishkar Salvi, Swapnil Hazare, Nilesh Kulkarni, Robin Morris, Santosh Shinde and Rohit Sharma.
