Mongia to lead India A in a practice match |
Sept 24, 2004:
Bangalore will be hosting a practice match
between the India Seniors and India A from
September 28th to October 1st prior to the very
important Australian Series. It was scheduled to
be held in Pune, but the venue was shifted to
Bangalore for the players to get used to the
conditions before the 1st Test.
India A side will be led by
Dinesh Mongia who is currently captaining the
Rest of India team at the Irani Trophy.
Venugopal Rao who scored a century against
Mumbai today along with Shib Sankar Paul have
also been included in the India A team. MS Dhoni
who is doing very well with the gloves has also
been selected in the India A team.

Chopra, Virender Sehwag, Rahul Dravid, VVS
Laxman, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh, Irfan
