to lead Rest of India |

The National Selectors have named dashing left
hander Gautham Gambhir as the skipper of the
Rest of India squad for the Irani Trophy. Rest
of India takes on Ranji Trophy champions
Railways at the Karnail Singh Stadium, Delhi
from October 1. The squad comprises of mainly
young players and Parthiv Patel has been chosen
as the wicket keeper. Vikram Singh, the
promising fast bowler from Punjab gets his taste
of this high profile match.
