No changes in the Indian Squad for the 2nd Test |
March 11th, 2005:
The Indian Selectors have
gone in with an unchanged Indian squad for the
2nd Test at Kolkata which starts in 5 days from
now on the 16th of this month.
Mohammad Kaif who led
Central Zone to lift the Duleep Trophy didn't
find his name in the Squad. Dinesh Karthik was
retained inspite of his dismal performance with
the bat at Mohali. VVS Laxman whose place was
under scrutiny secured his place with a well
made 58 at Mohali today.
Indian Squad:
Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir,
Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman,
Dinesh Karthik, Irfan Pathan, Anil Kumble,
Lakshmipathy Balaji, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan
Singh, Ashish Nehra, Yuvraj Singh.
