Sachin Tendulkar has been given the go-ahead
even as pacers Lakshmipathy Balaji and Ashish
Nehra make a comeback in the 14-member squad for
the next month's first Test against Pakistan at
Mohali, it was announced here Saturday.
Sourav Ganguly has been retained captain for the
entire series of three Tests and six one-day
internationals, Indian cricket board secretary
S.K. Nair announced after a selection committee
meeting.
The first will be played at the Punjab Cricket
Association (PCA) stadium at Mohali from March
8.
