Peter Kirsten's run out was not like any other conventional run
out! He was given run out when Kapil Dev had taken the bails off
at the non striker's end while trying to run into bowl. Kapil
had noticed that Kirsten was leaving the crease at the non
striker's end even before the ball was released which was
unfair. As Kapil Dev had already warned Kirsten of this before
the umpires in earlier matches, the third time this was repeated
saw Kirsten to be given out.
