England retain same squad for third test

Michael Vaughan's team in danger of losing the series at The OvalEngland have retained the same squad of 12 that has featured in the first two tests at Lord's and Trent Bridge for the third and final Test. England are likely to play the same 11 players for the Oval Test which means that Stuart Broad is going to miss out yet again.

The English boys will be under immense pressure going into the final Test as they are 0-1 down in the three-test series. India will require just a draw to win the series. India might have won the second test at Trent Bridge, but the series so far has been very closely fought with either side looking good to beat the other in bowler friendly conditions. England have been unlucky in this series as they were forced to draw the Lord's Test which was in their pocket until rain broke their hearts. India just managed to hold onto a draw having just the one wicket standing!

The third and final Test Match at the Brit Oval begins on the 9th. England have lost the services of Andrew Flintoff, Steve Harmison and Matthew Hoggard for this entire Test Series.

England Squad for the third Test : Michael Vaughan (Captain), Andrew Strauss, Alastair Cook, Ian Bell, Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Matthew Prior (Wicket Keeper), Matthew Hoggard, Monty Panesar, James Anderson, Ryan Sidebottom and Stuart Broad
