Dangerous
Harmison is out of the Test Series! |
India's
chances of winning the three-test series against
England have brightened after the news of
Harmison's unavailability has been confirmed.
The dangerous strike bowler has been ruled out
of the series because of his hernia problem.
Harmison will be getting operated today and will
be out of action for four to six weeks according
to England Coach Peter Moores.
England now are going
into the Test Series without the services of
Andrew Flintoff and Steve Harmison. The homeside
has called up Hampshire's Chris Tremlett to join
the squad. The English attack now consists of
only Matthew Hoggard and Monty Panesar as the
two strike bowlers. The rest of the attack is
quite inexperienced with Stuart Broad and Chris
Tremlett yet to make their Test Debut and
Sidebottom is just making his presence felt at
the international level. The first Test is at
Lord's from Thursday.
For Harmison, it will be
a real long wait to turn up for England once
again. It will only be in December when England
get to play their next test series which is
against Sri Lanka. Harmison had already retired
from playing One Day Internationals!
