Aussies name
their XII for Boxing Day Test |
Australia
have named a pace-oriented squad of 12 for the
Boxing Day Test Match against India. Brad Hogg
is the lone spinner in the side and his
inclusion in the final XI appears to be doubtful
as the opposition for the Aussies are fantastic
against spin bowling.
Brad Hogg broke into the squad after Stuart
MacGill had been ruled out with fitness
problems. The chinaman bowler stands a chance of
playing in the final XI as Aussies are sure to
include three quicks in Brett Lee, Stuart Clark
and Mitchell Johnson. In a few days of time, it
will be clear as to whom the Aussies prefer to
play, whether it is the express pace of Shaun
Tait or the variety of Bradley Hogg. However, it
is most likely that Shaun Tait will get the nod
ahead of Hogg simply because of his blistering
speeds of over 150kmph.
