Yuvraj Singh’s finger has let him and the team down again as the southpaw has been ruled out of the remaining two ODIs. Further his participation in the upcoming tri-series in Bangladesh is also doubtful.
Yuvraj after damaging his brittle finger while trying to stop a smashing drive at covers in the 2nd T20I at Mohali had to sit out in the first two ODIs. He came back into the side in the third ODI where he played a short but important innings of 23.
India has a reserve batsman in Virat Kohli who has been in very good touch. For the final ODI, MS Dhoni is going to return after his ban completion and it is likely that the selectors could retain Dinesh Karthik ahead of Rohit Sharma.
