West Indies have made no changes to their 13-man squad for the final two ODIs at St Lucia. With a crushing 8-wicket win in the second ODI at Kingston, West Indies have leveled the 4-ODI Series 1-1.
Windies have been on a high since the second T20 World Cup. They had defeated the formidable Australia and India in the tournament and their good run under Chris Gayle seems to continue in the ongoing home series against India.
The only player from the 13-man squad who hasn’t been used yet is Guyanese left handed batsman Narsingh Deonarine. West Indies have been without Fidel Edwards in this series as the slinging fast bowler had sustained a lower back injury during the Twenty20 World Championship.
The only weak link in the bowling unit seems to be medium pacer David Bernard but the Selectors have retained him while ignoring Darren Sammy. West Indies have a new find in Darren Bravo who tries to emulate fellow Trinidadian Brian Lara in his batting style.
The third ODI is to be played tomorrow at the Beausejour Stadium in Gros Islet, St Lucia and the fourth and final ODI will also be played at the same venue on Sunday.
