The Hyderabad-Gujarat Ranji match at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal ended in an obvious draw. Gujarat took three points owing to their first innings lead which they took during the third day’s play. On the final day’s play, Gujarat batted on and on to pile up 536 with 23-year-old Rujul Bhatt scoring his maiden century in first class cricket. The youngster scored 183 and got good support from bowler Ashraf Makda who scored 53. Pragyan Ojha who could make his debut in the Kanpur Test against Sri Lanka toiled hard taking only two wickets in 47.3 overs.
