Deccan Chargers chased down a highly competitive target of 175 against Kings XI Punjab at Dharamsala. Rohit Sharma led the way for the Chargers with his unbeaten 38-ball 68 which was filled up with 6 fours and 3 sixes. T Suman provided able support with his 31-ball 43 which included three sixes.
Kings XI Punjab had earlier posted 174 for 3 after being asked to bat first. Mahela Jayawardene opening the innings scored an unbeaten 62-ball 93 which was filled with 13 fours and 2 sixes while Skipper Kumar Sangakkara scored a 37-ball 52.
