Early morning rain and then the murky weather in the evening meant that only 24 overs were possible at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Uppal. Hosts Hyderabad are struggling in their first innings at 209 for 7 adding only 34 runs in the entire second day’s play! Ahmed Quadri on whom all the hopes wrested for Hyderabad was dismissed first on Day 2 with a score of 52. Another overnight batsman – Anirudh Singh also didn’t go long with his score and fell at 61 (from 248 balls).
