Just a little under 36 overs were possible on Day 2 of the Orissa-Railways match at Bhubaneswar due to rain and bad light. Railways have stretched their first innings score to 297 for 8 in 119.4 overs. Opener Cheluvaraj added only 16 more runs to his overnight score of 72. No.10 batsman Krishnakant Upadhyay did well to contribute an unbeaten 45 in the company of wicket keeper Mahesh Rawat (33) who is unbeaten as well when play was called off. Swing bowler Debasis Mohanty has been the pick of the bowlers for Orissa with 3 for 40 in 29 overs.
