Ganguly uncertain
for the Mumbai Test |
Nagpur, Oct 28th:
India captain Saurav Ganguly, who is not
playing the third test against Australia due to
a groin strain, is doubtful for the fourth match
in Bombay next month.
Ganguly hurt himself while fielding in the
first test in Bangalore earlier this month and
the injury deteriorated during practice on
Sunday. "He is receiving treatment and his
progress will be monitored carefully over the
next few days," team manager Vikram Patel said
in a statement.
Ganguly is India's most successful test
captain with 15 wins in 38 matches. The fourth
and final test starts on November 3.
