England plunder Bangladesh on Day 1

Alastair Cook Chittagong England’s newest Test Captain Alastair Cook helped himself to an unbeaten 158 to guide his team to 374 for 3 on Day 1 of the first Test at Chittagong. Cook’s 158 not out came in 244 balls with 14 fours and 2 sixes. The left hander put on 170 runs for the 3rd wicket with Kevin Pietersen who got out on 99! England have gone in with two debutants – opener Michael Carberry (who scored 30) and the big strapping pace bowler Steven Finn.
