Hoggard, Inzamam fined 20% of their match fees

Matthew Hoggard has been fined 20% of his match
fees after he was found guilty in an hearing
conducted by the ICC Match Referee Roshan
Mahanama for excessive appealing. Hoggard was
reported by the on field umpires Simon Taufel
and Billy Bowden for the way in which he had
started to celebrate the dismissal of Salman
Butt in the 2nd innings much before the umpire's
decision. Butt was caught behind by Geraint
Jones after making an important hundred.
Pakistan side which were victorious by just 22
runs were also fined 10% of their match fees
with their skipper Inzamam being fined 20%.
Pakistan were short by 2 overs in their over
rate.
