Tendulkar to miss
upcoming One Day tournaments |
Sachin Tendulkar has been ruled out of the
two upcoming One Day Series that start from the
second week of June. The master batsman has been
struggling with a groin injury that has been
troubling him since the CB Series in Australia.
The 35-year-old had been out of action since
the last two Test matches against South Africa
till the first half of the IPL. Tendulkar has
been advised to take rest by the Mumbai Indians'
Physio Nitin Patel. However, it is not clear as
how long Tendulkar will be resting but it is
sure that he is not going to take part in the
tri-series in Bangladesh followed by the Asia
Cup.
The tri-series in Bangladesh which involves
the hosts and Pakistan is from June 8th to June
14th while the Asia Cup is in Pakistan from June
24th to July 6th.
