Zaheer, Sreesanth
to miss BCCI Camp |

Fast
bowlers Zaheer Khan and Sreesanth are
expected to miss the BCCI's conditioning
camp for bowlers in the first week of
June. Both bowlers will be missing the
camp for 14 bowlers because of being
picked to represent Asia in the upcoming
Afro-Asian Cup. The camp is to be held
in the Infosys Campus in Mysore between
June 4th and 8th.
The BCCI has recalled discards like
Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan, Ajit
Agarkar as well for the bowlers camp.
Five of the fourteen bowlers are
spinners. Pragyan Ojha, a left arm
spinner from Hyderabad has also got his
name in the list. Notable omissions are
leggie Piyush Chawla and medium pacer Yo
Mahesh from Tamil Nadu and India U19.
Both these bowlers have been selected to
train at the Australian Cricket Academy
from the first week of June which is a
practice every year between boards of
both India and Australia.

BCCI has also selected 15 batsmen for a camp
that will take place in the National Cricket
Academy in Bangalore from June 9th to 12th.
Mohammad Kaif returns back into reckoning among
the batsmen while there is opportunity for young
guns Rohit Sharma and S Badrinath. Manoj Tewary
misses out because of his surgery on his
shoulder. The Indian team for tests and one
dayers in the coming series will be selected on
the 12th which is followed by a camp for the
squad members from 13th to 16th June at the NCA.
