India name an unchanged ODI Squad for WI |
 The
Indian Selectors kept faith in the same
set of 15 men that squared the 2-ODIs
Series in Abu Dhabi against Pakistan for
the upcoming One Day Series against the
West Indies. With Sachin Tendulkar
ruled out of the One Day Series, Robin
Uthappa and Y.Venugopal Rao get another
opportunity to try and cement their
place in the Indian team. Mohammad Kaif
has been backed by the selectors despite
his continuous failures with the bat.
The 1st ODI is scheduled on the 18th of
May at Jamaica. Jamaica may not be the
actual venue as the Stadium is not going
to be ready by next year according to
reports. The Indian team would also be
playing four test matches on the tour
and the squad for which would be picked
much later and Sachin Tendulkar is
expected to be fit by then.
