Dhoni rested for Indore match; Karthik comes
back |

Mahendra
Singh Dhoni got rested by the Selectors for
the 7th ODI at Indore and Tamil Nadu wicket
keeper Dinesh
Karthik has been included as the
replacement. This is the first time that
Mahendra Singh Dhoni is missing a One Day
International ever since making his debut
against Bangladesh. Dhoni's 40 matches on trot
comes to a halt because of this selectors'
decision. The 20-year-old Dinesh Karthik has
played 10 Tests and 2 ODIs in his short career.
Rahul Dravid has
also come back into the squad after getting a
2-match break. Pace bowler
Ajit Agarkar has been dropped from the
squad. The 7th and final ODI between India and
England is on the 15th and India after having
won the series are looking to give their fringe
players the opportunity.
